Crescent Suzuki WSBK stars join FIXI for new office launch FIXI Crescent Suzuki racers Leon Camier and Jules Cluzel recently joined title sponsors FIXI for the official opening of the institutional foreign exchange specialists’ new offices in the heart of London’s financial district. Camier and Cluzel met up with FIXI’s CEO Richard Wynn, as well as fellow directors and the rest of the company’s staff, to celebrate the opening of the new premises and to learn a bit about how FIXI operates. The pair were shown how FIXI manages vast amounts of money on the Foreign Exchange market for its clients and the duo were also given a chance to watch a transaction taking place, as the constantly fast-moving money markets changed before their eyes. The FIXI Crescent Suzuki racers were very impressed with the way that FIXI handles so many transactions at the same time and could see the correlation between the fast-moving, highly technical way that FIXI operates and their own place of work in the similarly high-tech and speed-orientated world of the Superbike World Championship. The opening of the FIXI offices signalled the initial meeting of Camier and Cluzel as team-mates, with the Frenchman making his first public appearance for the FIXI Crescent Suzuki team after agreeing to join the squad for the 2013 season. Cluzel was also making his first-ever visit to London and was very impressed with the position of the FIXI offices right in the middle of the City. FIXI Crescent Suzuki, with Camier and Cluzel on-board their Yoshimura-powered Suzuki GSX-R1000s, will next be in action early in the new year for a pre-season test in Spain, as the team prepares for the first race of 2013 at Phillip Island in Australia on Sunday 24th February. FIXI PLC is an independent brokerage house based in the heart of London’s financial district and offers a worldwide service for its clients from offices in Chicago, Singapore and Hong Kong which gives it a complete global coverage. FIXI does not service the retail market directly, but it does have partnerships and provide liquidity to regulated retail brokerages within the Institutional and Professional market. FIXI prides itself on being able to reach out globally and providing bespoke services to its clients wherever they are based and offer innovative and state-of-the-art technology to its clients and partners in leading global financial centres. This shows that they are a forward-thinking company and that is always good for us as a team. It was great to be able to see how the markets work and learn a little bit about how FIXI operates. I was really impressed by the how fast the Foreign Exchange market moves and the technology that is involved it has so many similarities to racing so it’s a good relationship for all concerned. It’s been great to be up in London and especially good to meet my new team-mate and get to know him a bit better.” Jules Cluzel: “I am happy to finally discover London and see the new FIXI offices – they look really nice and are in a fantastic position. I was able to stand in the office and see many places in London I had only seen in photos and on TV before. It has been great to meet the whole FIXI team and see how they work. It is good to see how a sponsor operates, so we can understand more about them. It was a really good day and now I look forward to racing for FIXI when the season starts.” Richard Wynn – CEO FIXI PLC: “We were delighted to receive Leon and Jules at our new offices. FIXI has relocated to a new state of the art facility within the ‘City’ square mile, as we needed to increase our floor space and allow for growth. We had a blank canvas to equip the offices with hi-tech IT and staff, and are very pleased with the result. “We were very happy to demonstrate our trading platforms to the guys. Both riders were fascinated and appreciated you really do need to think on your feet to keep up with the speed and technology involved.”
