The two season-opening races of the FIM Superbike World Championship, held Saturday, February 23 at Losail International Circuit, in Doha, Qatar, will be broadcast today on SPEED. According to the program guide on www.speedtv.com, race one is scheduled to be broadcast at 5:00 p.m. Eastern/2:00 p.m. Pacific with race two following at 6:00 p.m. Eastern/3:00 p.m. Pacific. The broadcast schedule appearing on www.speedtv.com did not show any motorcycle road races earlier this week due to “bugs” on SPEED’s new website, according to Joe Tripp, Director of Interactive Operations/Editor in Chief of www.speedtv.com. “The program schedule and pages have received a great deal of attention of late,” Tripp wrote in an e-mail to Roadracingworld.com, “and barring any unforeseen difficulties, you should see be able to easily find FIM World Superbike, Supersport, MotoGP, etc. now”¦though more tweaks are coming to make the schedules perform the way we specked.”
