EAB ANTWEST RACING ENLISTS GLENN VAN STRAALEN FOR ARGENTINA WORLD SUPERSPORT RACE

Preview Round 11 Argentina

The EAB antwest Racing World Supersport Team is pleased to announce that they have signed an agreement with rising Dutch star Glenn Van Straalen to substitute for Ant West at the Argentinian World Supersport round. The agreement was signed on Sunday in Magny Cours after the 300 Supersport race— which just happened to be Glenn’s birthday!

The Argentina World Superbike round is coming up fast. Although we always planned on expanding the EAB antwest Racing team in 2019, my current misfortune has opened the doors a little sooner for us to try out some young talent. @glennvanstraalen Glenn Van Straalen has signed with us for one round. After completing his last 300 supersport race for this season, we gave him the news that he’s going to Argentina to ride my 600 in WSS. Great news for Glenn on his 18th birthday last Sunday. Glenn does have a little experience racing 600cc in the Dutch championship but it will be his 1st time on Kawasaki ZX6R and his 1st time with this much power under his right wrist. We only expect Glenn to learn and grow from this experience and have some fun.

I want to thank Ferry Schoenmakers, Anthony West and my personal sponsors who organized this! It is the first time that I will ride in the World Supersport and with the Kawasaki, but I see it as a great opportunity to show me on this level. Since it is quite short day, we have no chance to test with this engine, so it will take some getting used to. The circuit is new for everyone, because it will be driven here for the first time. It will be a great adventure to go to Argentina and I can not wait to get on the bike there!
