World Supersport: Huertas Takes Pole Position At Aragon

Adrian Huertas topped World Supersport Superpole qualifying Friday afternoon at MotorLand Aragon, in Spain. Riding his Aruba.it Racing Ducati Panigale V2 on Pirelli control tires, the Spaniard lapped the 3.15-mile track in 1:52.932 to top the field of 33 riders.

Lucas Mahias was second-best with a 1:52.994 on his GMT94 Yamaha YZF-R6.

Jorge Navarro did a third-fastest 1:53.045 on his Orelac Racing Verdnatura Ducati.

Former MotoAmerica Supersport regular Valentin Debise qualified seventh with a 1:53.413 on his Evan Bros. Racing Yamaha.
