World Supersport: Niki Tuuli Signs With CIA Landlord Insurance Honda For 2018

Niki Tuuli joins CIA Landlord Insurance Honda for 2018

CIA Landlord Insurance Honda are pleased to announce they have agreed a deal with Finland’s Niki Tuuli to compete in the World Supersport Championship in 2018.

Tuuli erupted onto the World Supersport scene in 2016 with just three races in his debut showing huge potential with 2nd places in Germany, France and Spain and the fastest lap award at all three races.

2017 saw the Nordic youngster return to World Supersport as a permanent rider with Kallio Racing for his first full campaign in the class. Tuuli clinched 3rd early in the season in Thailand and took his first pole position and maiden victory at Magny Cours putting him 7th in the 2017 Championship.

Tuuli said: “I’m really excited about joining the CIA Landlord Insurance Honda team and also looking forward to the upcoming season. There are lot of new things coming ahead and I’m waiting eagerly our first test session so that we can start building our package.”

CIA Landlord Insurance Honda Team Manager, Simon Buckmaster said: “I’m pleased to be able to do this. To be honest I’ve been looking at Niki for a couple of seasons now. He’s shown great promise and I think he is ready to make the final step to becoming a consistent podium contender and to fight for the title with CIA Landlord Insurance Honda next year.”
