WorldSBK: Bautista Over Rea, Gerloff P7 In FP1 At Assen

Defending World Champion Alvaro Bautista, riding his Aruba.it Racing Ducati Panigale V4 R, topped World Superbike Free Practice One (FP1) Friday morning at TT Circuit Assen with a lap time of 1:34.592.

Six-time Superbike World Champion Jonathan Rea was second on his factory Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR, while Remy Gardner was both the top Independent Team rider and top Yamaha rider in third on his GYTR GRT Yamaha YZF-R1.

American Garrett Gerloff finished the session seventh overall and the second-best BMW rider on his Bonovo Action BMW M 1000 RR.
