Superbike World Championship get back on Monza track for its fifth round. Large turnout of fans is expected on Sterigarda Go Eleven’s home-track, a double reason or the team leaded by Marco Borciani to power to a great show. The goal is hard to be reached on this track due to the importance of the motorbikes power which has always brought an advantage to the 4-cylinders machines. However, there is no lack of optimism in Sterilgarda Go Eleven team: all the riders are in good form and moreover Max Biaggi got a fantastic podium on last year race-1, and took the fifth best place in race-2. A good performance is expected from Alex Polita too. The rider from Jesi ran a great race here at Monza just 7 days ago in the Italian Championship, therefore he aims at his first seasonal podium in Superstock 1000 after two forth final positions in a row taken in the first two rounds of the season. Ruben Xaus: “We are going to face an hard-fought round, but I really would like to get the best in front of our Italian supporters. I feel really good and I hope to minimize the gap from the 4-cylinders, especially during the qualifying”. Max Biaggi: “Last year I did my debut here at Monza and I got immediately the podium. On this track I really like the mid-fast corners and above all the huge turnout of fans coming from each part of Italy. I want to meet the challenge and I want to give a good result to my team, to the sponsors, and to the supporters”. Alex Polita: “I feel really confident about the next round. I ran here just one week ago and it has been helpful to get everything ready for the World contest. We have already done the most of the fine-tune job so I will be able to focus my work on my best lap since the first day. I would like to start from the front line in order to be immediately into the battle for the top positions”. Marco Borciani: “This is our home-round. I really would like to get an excellent result and then celebrate with the sponsors and the supporters. The riders are motivated and we have done our best to fine-tune the machines. I just hope we are not going to pay to much for the gap from Suzuki and Yamaha”.
