Yamaha Champions Riding School Announces Three New Events for 2021.

Charleston, SC – June 2021 – Yamaha Champions Riding School is excited to announce three new events for the 2021 calendar. These new events include a partner event with the Progressive International Motorcycle Show Outdoor Series at Sonoma Raceway, a return to Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and a very special end of the year Graduates Only event at Inde Motorsports Ranch in Willcox, AZ.

“2021 has been a remarkable year for ChampSchool with nearly every event sold out months in advance,” said YCRS CEO Nick Ienatsch. “With demand very high and constant requests for new markets, we decided to add three new events to the 2021 YCRS Calendar.”

Sonoma and IMS

On July 16 – July 18 Yamaha Champions Riding School partners with the Progressive International Motorcycle Show Outdoors to bring ChampSchool and ChampStreet to Northern California at Sonoma Raceway. Friday July 16 and Saturday July 17 will feature our 2-Day ChampSchool, 1-Day ChampSchool and ChampGrad programs. There will be a limited selection of Yamaha motorcycles for ChampSchool students to rent. Friday July 16 – Saturday July 17 will feature our 4-Hour ChampStreet program on the large expanse of asphalt behind turn 11. There will be morning and afternoon sessions. The Sunday July 18 ChampStreet will feature the same 4-Hour ChampStreet program, but half will be on the complete road course, and half on the expanse of asphalt behind turn 11. All ChampSchool students will also receive a complimentary ticket to stay for the Progressive International Motorcycle Show for the entire weekend.  Take the School, change your riding life, and be part of the show!

“We have had a long, wonderful relationship with the people at IMS and when they talked to us about the event at Sonoma, it was a perfect fit and we had to be a part of it,” said YCRS CEO Nick Ienatsch. “Going to the IMS show is cool enough but imagine taking ChampSchool at IMS and being part of the show. Once in a lifetime experience for sure.”

Las Vegas

On December 10 and 11, ChampSchool is returning to Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This event will feature the 2-Day ChampSchool and a full compliment of Yamaha motorcycles, Alpinestars gear, and Arai helmets available for rent. ChampSchool students can fly into sin city for the full “arrive and ride” experience and then enjoy everything Las Vegas has to offer on a nice vacation before the holidays.

“We love Vegas. We love the facility, we love the town, and we love doing events there,” said Ienatsch. “We are excited about coming back to one of our home tracks for a fantastic end-of-the-year event.”

The GO Event in AZ

The last event of 2021 will be something really special. On December 14 – 15, ChampSchool will be debuting The GO Event at Inde Motorsports Ranch in Willcox, AZ. This “Grad Only” event will not be available to the public and will feature a 2:1 student-to-instructor ratio for very personal, private coaching at one of the best private road courses on the planet.

“Our semi-private ChampGrad program has been really successful, and it just felt natural to expand on it with the GO event,” said Ienatsch. “We decided to put on a very exclusive event, just for our grads, with some private  coaching, special events, and some things we have never tried before. How about a false-neutral drill?”
