San Diego, CA. The Yamaha Champions Riding School has finalized its schedule for the east side of the Mississippi in 2018.
YCRS will have three ChampDays at New Jersey Motorsports Park this coming year, one of which has already been bought out by a large group. May 21 will be at the NJMP Thunderbolt course and September 3 (also at T-Bolt) are still available and open for registration. September 3 is Labor Day so you don’t even have to take a day off of work to get introduced to Champions Habits!
Want the full experience? ChampSchool, our famed two-day class touted as the best motorcycle riding class in America, will be delivered at New Jersey Motorsports Park’s Thunderbolt course three times this season: May 22-23, June 12-13, and Sept 4-5. The September class is the Tuesday-Wednesday just before the MotoAmerica races so come out and learn how the best riders in the country will ride the course the following weekend. You can expect a guest instructor or two!
New for 2018 is Pittsburgh International Race Complex. After highly successful track days by N2 in 2017 and a stellar inaugural race weekend for the MotoAmerica series, we just couldn’t get this place out of our minds. The rolling green hills and freshly paved tarmac erase all thoughts of dancing sugarplums in our heads. We will host a two-day ChampSchool the Monday and Tuesday right before the MotoAmerica race weekend on August 20-21.
This schedule sits on top of our already busy winter and spring with dates at Arizona Motorsports Park, Inde Motorsports Ranch, and Buttonwillow Raceway before heading back east. For riders eyeing the January 6/7 AMP school near Phoenix, we will be joined by Elena Meyers Court (only the most bad ass and winningest female motorcycle racer in American history), who coached for us in Colorado last year. Stay tuned for a separate press release regarding Elena.
Of course, all season long we have instructors doing private and semi-private lessons as well as being hired to instruct at track days, hosting corporate team-building events, doing track day demos with the Yamaha Champions Sportbike Demo program, military programs, and trying to grow our street riders course called ChampStreet. And don’t worry Colorado riders, we’re expecting to see you this year too.
Below is our full schedule which can also be accessed by selecting “Enroll Today” at the top of our home page via www.champschool.com, www.ridelikeachampion.com or just clicking here. Don’t just look at the schedule, poke around. Search us on YouTube and Facebook, look-up a few of Nick Ienatsch’s technique articles on cycleworld.com, pick up his book; “Sportbike Riding Techniques” and get a head start on your education. We encourage education so why not learn about us and see what Champions Habits are all about.
