Yamaha Champions Riding School Sets Winter Dates at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Sunday/Monday schools added to winter Las Vegas program TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (September 7, 2011) “” The Yamaha Champions Riding School, based at Miller Motorsports Park, has announced its 2011-2012 winter schedule of schools to be held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The dates will be as follows: November 21-22, 2011 December 11-12, 2011 January 16-17, 2012 February 5-6, 2012 March 19-20, 2012 April 8-9, 2012 “The 2011/2012 Vegas dates include some Sunday/Monday schools because our students have asked about weekend dates to better fit their schedules and reduce their time away from work,” said lead instructor Nick Ienatsch. “Fly in Saturday, ride with us Sunday and Monday, and you could be back at work on Tuesday…as a much better rider.” Nick Ienatsch heads up the team of instructors that includes #1 plate holders, class champions, club champions, track-record holders and national champions such as Ken Hill, Dale Keiffer, Shane Turpin and Mark Schellinger. What sets these coaches apart is their ability to teach at any level the student rides, at whatever lap time, aimed at whatever goal that student has. As has been customary since the school’s inception, Yamaha will continue to provide championship-winning “guest instructors” for many of the school dates. Previous guest instructors have included 2009 Superbike World Champion and 2010 MotoGP Rookie of the Year Ben Spies; five-time Daytona 200 and 1993 Superbike World Champion Scott Russell; 2008 Superbike World Champion James Toseland; 2010-2011 AMA American Superbike Champion, 2003 AMA Superstock Champion and 2006-2007 AMA Formula Xtreme Champion Josh Hayes; 1998 AMA Superbike Champion, 2001 World Superbike multi-race winner, 2004 AMA Supermoto Champion and X-Games Supermoto Gold Medalist and 2008 AMA Supersport Champion Ben Bostrom; 2010 AMA Daytona 200 winner Josh Herrin; and two-time AMA Supermoto Lites Champion Brandon Currie. Plan a winter getaway to Vegas now for our highly-praised two-day program. The weather’s warm and flights are cheap. Make this the year you make that huge improvement in your riding.
