Yamaha Champions Riding School returns to Inde Motorsports Ranch for Winter school schedule

TUCSON, Ariz. (Oct. 12) — After a successful 2015 summer season at New Jersey Motorsports Park, the Yamaha Champions Riding School will return to Inde Motorsports Ranch for a complete winter school schedule in 2015-2016, which kicks off tomorrow for a two day school on Oct. 13-14, 2015.

YCRS fell in love with Inde Motorsports Ranch, located just outside Tucson, Ariz. in Willcox – the desert circuit offers a 2.75 mile, 21-turn road course and immaculate facilities, perfect for teaching “Champions Habits” and escaping from the winter cold.

“All of us at YCRS are excited to be heading back to IMR this winter,” said Nick Ienatsch, Senior Instructor at YCRS. “We really loved it in Arizona last year and it offered a great opportunity to see a new track and introduce it to our students. This year we’re back because we can’t live without it!”

The complete winter YCRS schedule at Inde Motorsports Ranch is as follows:

October 13-14, 2015

November 16-17, 2015

December 8-9, 2015

January 7-8, 2015 (Graduates Only)

February 16-17, 2015

At YCRS students will learn techniques created by none other than the best riders in the world. Students should expect to learn vital body position and braking techniques that will take their riding to the next level, including the new concept of BAS – Brake Assisted Steering.

“Brake Assisted Steering is our interchangeable term for Trail-Braking,” said Chris Peris, Senior Instructor. “While Trail-Braking is an accurate term, we believe the reason too many are scared to use it is because it’s hard to conceptualize trailing off brake pressure as you ride through a turn. If you want to learn how to ride your bike the way it was designed to be ridden, come on out to IMR this winter.”
