The Yamaha FZ-09 (known as the MT-09 for 2018) is the subject of a Quick Ride feature in the February 2018 issue of Roadracing World & Motorcycle Technology.

Editor At Large Michael Gougis covered the official introduction of the updated model and what’s new about the “hyper naked” machine. Associate Editor David Swarts tested the FZ-09 on the street and made good use of the new, fully-adjustable forks. And Racing Editor Chris Ulrich pushed the Yamaha to its limits at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway and made special note of its throttle response and engine power. We also weighed, measured and dyno tested the triple-cylinder machine.
