ELKHART LAKE, Wis., May 29, 2014 – Yamaha has signed a multi-year agreement to be the Official Side-by-Side (SxS) partner of rider education at Road America, beginning with the 2014 season.
“Since last season, Yamaha has been an integral part of Road America’s successful motorcycle schools to train beginner and advanced students how to ride safe,” said Mike Kertscher, programs manager for Road America. “Yamaha’s expansion of its efforts into the side-by-side category reaffirms the return-on-investment for our sponsors and the unique exposure that our schools and adventure programs can deliver. We are proud that Yamaha recognized how effective our schools and programs are and we look forward to a great partnership.”
As the official side-by-side partner of rider education at Road America, Yamaha will have a substantial presence on-site at Road America events through venue signage. For selected Road America programs, Yamaha will have an expanded product presence allowing consumers to experience and enjoy the performance characteristics of Yamaha side-by-side vehicles.
“We’re looking forward to growing our already successful relationship with Road America,” said Dan Rivito, regional marketing manager for Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. “This official side-by-side vehicle sponsorship will provide Yamaha with a cost-effective opportunity to work hand-in-hand with our local dealerships while providing added benefit to consumers. Road America has a very loyal and active fan-base and this presents a great opportunity to showcase our products with Road America fans so they can come for the experience and stay for the races.”
