A deal that will see Yamaha Motor Corp. U.S.A. sponsor a new riding school at Miller Motorsports Park (MMP) is close to being finalized. That’s the word from sources close to the proposed deal for the racetrack located near Salt Lake City, in Tooele, Utah. If it happens, the proposed school would be run by the track’s Dan McKeever and would use several instructors–including Nick Ienatsch–formerly associated with the now-defunct Freddie Spencer’s High Performance Riding School, which held courses at MMP and at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The first sessions of the school could be held as soon as late April or early May. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
