Yamaha U.S. Road Racing Teams Introduce New Video To Mark The Start Of Daytona Bike Week Cypress, CA – With 22 Daytona 200 wins to its credit, including a 13-year unbeaten reign at the “The World Center of Racing,” Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. has always considered Daytona to be a special place and Daytona Bike Week a special time of year for the company. Daytona conjures up memories of Don Emde’s epic 1972 Daytona 200 victory that started the 13-year Yamaha winning streak, Kenny Roberts and his bumblebee-liveried Yamahas winning on the high banks, Eddie Lawson’s and Scott Russell’s Daytona 200 wins on Yamahas, and so many more. Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha SuperBike riders Josh Hayes and Josh Herrin, along with Yamaha Extended Service/Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha Daytona SportBike riders Cameron Beaubier and Garrett Gerloff understand the importance of Daytona to the Yamaha heritage of winning, and they’re as excited as the rest of us that Daytona Bike Week is finally here. They can’t wait to climb aboard their Yamaha YZF-R1 and YZF-R6 racebikes at Daytona and begin the 2013 GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing season. In the meantime, the Boys in Blue put together this video, so check it out: Look for more videos and other updates to come from the Yamaha U.S. Road Racing Teams.
