Yamaha is hosting the press and its own employees at a 2009 racing press conference at the company’s Cypress, California headquarters this morning. While Yamaha’s 2009 AMA team has not yet been announced, the road racers in attendance at the event are Ben Spies, Ben Bostrom, Josh Herrin and Tommy Aquino. Reached by phone, Jim DiSalvo said his son Jason DiSalvo is not returning to the Yamaha team in 2009 and is exploring other options both in the United States and overseas.
