Yamaha World Supersport Team Signs With Chickenhawk Tire Warmers

Yamaha Motor Europe has named Chicken Hawk Racing Tire Warmers to be their Official Supplier of Tire Warmers for the World Supersport team for the next 3 years (through 2012). Chicken Hawk Racing founder and racer, David Podolsky said “We are really proud to be a part of the Yamaha World Racing effort. The Yamaha team operates at the highest level of professionalism and we are glad to have our Tire Warmers in their garage. Yamaha riders, Cal Crutchlow & Fabien Foret are also of excellent caliber; congratulations to both on their recent performances. Chicken Hawk Racing’s export business has been growing in Japan, Australia and Europe and this is a great opportunity for us to promote through the success of this excellent team”. Team Manager Dutchman Wilco Zeelenberg is an ex-racer himself who has had racing experience in 250GP, Thunderbike and the 600cc World Series where he rode for Yamaha for four years. After hanging up his racing boots in 2001, he became a technical co-coordinator for Yamaha Motor Europe, providing technical support, race training and schooling for Yamaha race teams. For 2008 he stepped up to the plate and became the team manager for The Yamaha World Supersport Team. Wilco said “We selected the Chicken Hawk Racing brand after evaluating tire warmers from around the globe. We are very enthusiastic about this technical partnership we have formed”.
