Yonce Wins Four CCS Races At JenningsGP

CCS Florida/Southeast/Mid-Atlantic Jennings GP Jennings, Florida Trey Yonce won the Unlimited Grand Prix race during the CCS regional event April 1 at JenningsGP on a Suzuki GSX-R600. He was out front from the start of the race, which was interrupted on the first lap due to a red flag incident in turn 10. At the restart, Santiago Villa nailed the holeshot lead with his Suzuki GSX-R1000. But, Yonce, who was determined to be back up front, made his passing move in turn 11 and reclaimed his lead before the end of the first completed lap. Villa chased Yonce for the remainder of the race in a two-rider breakaway fight for the lead but was unable to get around. Yonce took the checkered flag in first with Villa close behind in second. Michael Rouleau finished third on his Suzuki GSX-R1000. Yonce was the biggest Expert winner of the weekend with four first-place finishes. He also won the GTO, GTU and Middleweight Supersport races. He finished second to Mike Smith in Middleweight Superbike. Garrett Rick was the second-biggest Expert winner with three first-place finishes. He won the SuperTwins, Lightweight Superbike and Thunderbike events. RESULTS: UNLIMITED GRAND PRIX (SHOOTOT): 1. Trey Yonce (Suz GSX-R600); 2. Santiago Villa (Suz GSX-R1000); 3. Charlie Mavros (Yam YZF-R1); 10. James Ozyjowski (Suz GSX-R600).
