MICHELIN NORTH AMERICA ANNOUNCES MOTORCYCLE AND SCOOTER TIRE PRICE INCREASES GREENVILLE, S.C. (Aug. 14, 2007) Effective Jan. 1, 2008, Michelin North America is increasing prices on Michelin® motorcycle and scooter replacement tires sold in the United States and Canada by up to 8 percent. All tires delivered after Jan. 1, 2008 will be invoiced at the new price. Dedicated to the improvement of sustainable mobility, Michelin designs, manufactures and sells tires for every type of vehicle, including airplanes, automobiles, bicycles, earthmovers, farm equipment, heavy-duty trucks, motorcycles and the space shuttle. The company also publishes travel guides, hotel and restaurant guides, maps and road atlases.
