He is a five-time NAHA Champion, three-time, back-to-back Open X champ, and a two-time back-to-back 700X champ. In 2010 he will compete in three classes; in the Open X he will use a 1340 cc Suzuki GSXR in a Suzuki RM 250 frame, in the 700X class he runs a 100% Nitro Methane GSXR 600 cc in an RM 250 frame, and for the new Verticross class he with race the RMZ 450. The Verticross class is all 450 based with stretched swingarms and rubber paddle tires. He raced at Fontana on the Celtic Racing team’s bike in the Superbike class and finished 12th on Saturday and 7th on Sunday. His finish on Sunday was his best so far in the AMA Series. McCormick was recently testing with the Michael Jordan Team at Infineon and will fill in for injured rider Aaron Yates at the next round in Atlanta. ~http://www.celticracing.com~ Dane (Wolverine) Westby, Daytona Sportbike Rider – Project 1 Atlanta Currently in 3rd place in the Daytona Sportbike class, Westby is off to a strong start to his season. He finished 2nd at Daytona and then followed that up with a 3rd place finish at the first race in Fontana at the Auto Club Speedway. The team is based out of Georgia and runs Graves Motorsports Yamaha’s. Westby raced in the Daytona Sportbike class in 2009 and finished in 18th overall.
