Sept 12-13 (Saturday-Sunday) Laguna Seca will host a Charity Event for the Monterey SPCA. The event is organized by www.ClubAutoSport.net/uncorked of San Jose, Calif. Submit Entry forms: ~http://www.hookedondriving.com/clubautosport~. Motorcycle oriented spectators are welcome and if interested, will be offered parade laps on the track during lunch. Join Danny Sullivan, multiple Indy 500 winner for a ride in one of the #43 Richard Petty cars for a small donation. Spectator entry is Free to the event. Open seating in the Grandstands. There will be plenty of food and beverage vendors-or bring your own picnic. Vendor area will be open to the public. Many other interesting happenings throughout the weekend. There will be Historic NASCAR races as well as Porsche, Formula Mazda challenge, IMSA Trans-Am and GT races and many more. Between 5,000 and 10,000 spectators are expected to attend the weekend! Motorcycle participants: For an entry fee of $500 for the entire weekend, motorcycle participants will receive 4 track sessions, 2 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. UNLIMITED SOUND!! There will be a practice/qualifying session each morning from 1000 to 1025 AM. The afternoon will offer a 10 lap race at 5PM each day. A large area in the paddock will be reserved for the motorcycle participants. Pirelli and Dunlop will be in this area to service the contestants needs. Each participant will receive: 1) 4 tickets to Friday evening 6PM Welcome BBQ in the paddock. 2) 4 Hot pit passes (rider + 3 crew) 3) 1 video of the weekend “Uncorked”. 4) 1 event shirt 5) 2 tkts for Saturday Evening banquet in the Red Bull Center catered by Tarpy’s Roadhaus. 6) Weekend access for racer + guest in the ClubAutoSport Hospitality area. You will get to meet and visit with Hall of Fame racer Mark Brelsford, 1973 AMA Grand National Champion, as well as the ’70’s era Flat tracker Jim Rice.
