Zalusky Advanced Riding School and Track Days (ZARS) kicks off the 2011 season on May 1 at Mid America Motorplex. The Track Day will bring riders and top racers from all across the Midwest for an action packed event, including the Shootout for licensed racers, Rider Challenge for recreational riders, Track School and the School of R.O.C.C for riding enthusiasts. The Shootout has posted a cash purse of $1000 and will feature classes for both expert and novice. The Shootout has attracted top racers from many clubs including Midwest Cafe Racing Association (MCRA) and the Central Roadracing Association (CRA) to name a few. Top expert Shane Keaveny is looking for another win in GP 3/4 but must battle top challenger Shane Fletcher and several local racers for the checkered flag. In the expert GP 1/2, Mark Miller has his eyes set on his first win in this series. In the Novice ranks, 2010 Shootout Novice Champion Cole Speer is looking for an early win to add to his winning streak from last season. Mid America Motorplex is located in Pacific Junction, Iowa, and features a 2.23 mile long road racing circuit with 15 turns. Our next round will be at Brainerd International Raceway in Brainerd, Minnesota, on May 30 on the Competition Course. About Zalusky Advanced Riding School and Track Days (ZARS) is a Track Day organization based in the Upper Midwest that provides riding and education opportunities for riders and racers of all skill levels.
