Brainerd, MN – Zalusky Advanced Riding School and Track Days (ZARS) has reached a new level in rider training opportunities in the Midwest with the School of Rider Objectives, Confidence and Cornering (School of R.O.C.C.). In its third year of development, the School of R.O.C.C. has evolved into the premier training program for experienced track riders and racers in the Midwest. The School of R.O.C.C. has developed core principles as its foundation for training with an end state of increasing the rider’s confidence and skills. The School of R.O.C.C. Chief Rider Coach, Nick Campbell, is an accomplished racer and has devoted his passion of riding into rider development in the Midwest. The School of R.O.C.C. also boasts some of the best rider coaches which include, Shane Keaveny, Zach Hughes, Aaron Anderson, Christian Schmidt, Brad Johannes and Karl Rehpohl. “I ask our riders to take an honest approach in their connection with the bike, never trading confidence for the sake of speed. Through the use of some seemingly simple, but crafty rules, the riders are able to experience the connection necessary to break through very common riding plateaus. With this re-prioritized strategy of control, their pace quickens at the same time increasing their safety margin. The school’s philosophy was developed out of personal necessity, as I was battling with many of the barriers my fellow racers develop after being injured in a crash. I was fortunate to have some of the best minds in the sport as mentors through it’s early development, and this has literally changed the way many of our club’s top riders view control. Watching a developing rider skip over common plateaus and go from an average track day attendee, to a class champion, is something the R.O.C.C. coaches and myself draw an incredible amount of pride from,” stated Nick Campbell. The School of R.O.C.C. has a proven track record with producing many of the top Midwest riders and racers, including Jake Northrup and Chase Sellers. The next and last School of R.O.C.C. for 2011 is September 5th at Brainerd International Raceway in Brainerd, Minnesota. About – Zalusky Advanced Riding School and Track Days (ZARS) is a Track Day organization based in the Upper Midwest that provides riding and education opportunities for riders and racers of all skill levels.
