ZARS Shootout And Rider Challenge Race Results From Road America

Elkhart Lake, WI (June 3) – Zalusky Advanced Riding School and Track Days (ZARS) recently held the Shootout Championship and Rider Challenge Championships Series and Track Days, May 30-31, at Elkhart Lake’s Road America.

Several riders from all across the U.S.A. rode the 4-mile road course in Wisconsin on Memorial Day. The Shootout Series attracted several top riders including Kyle Ohnsorg and Farrell Performance riders Jason Farrell. The series presented by BlownConcepts.com awarded over $1000 in cash prizes to the top finishers in each of the classes.

On May 30, Kyle Ohnsorg had a strong lead on the field in GP Expert 3/4 to take the win with runner up Tom Girard and Josh Rom finishing respectively in 3rd. In the GP 1/2 Expert class, Jon Champ put on an incredible performance from start to finish to take the win.

In the Novice ranks on May 30, Joseph Mastain took the checkered flag for GP 3/4 with Tim Koebert in 2nd and Gabriel Tyree in 3rd. In Novice GP 1/2, Chris Mattson gave an impressive to take the win.

On May 31, Jason Farrell gridded up and took a commanding lead that took him all the way to the checkered flag in the GP 3/4 Expert with runner up Jesse Nelson in 2nd. In the GP 1/2 Expert class, Jon Champ dominated once again to take the win.

For our novice classes, Joseph Mastain had a sizable lead and took home the GP3/4 win and Chris Mattson took another GP1/2 victory.

ZARS continues to broaden the riding opportunities with the Rider Challenge for experienced Track Day riders. Kyle Franz dominated the field and took the two victories for GP 3/4 on May 30 & 31 with Andrew Tolzman finishing 2nd respectively.

ZARS heads to Brainerd International Raceway (Minnesota) on June 25-26 for the next stop. June 25 is on the Competition Course (2.5 mi.) and June 26 is on the Donnybrooke Road Course (3.1 mi.) . In July, ZARS heads West to High Plains Raceway (Deer Trail, Colorado), July 23-24.
