ZERO MOTORCYCLES TO MAKE ITS FIRST-EVER APPEARANCE AT 2011 EICMA INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE EXHIBITION IN MILAN, ITALY — Zero to Make 2012 Model Line Announcement in Italy as its European Growth Continues to Accelerate — SANTA CRUZ, Calif., (Oct. 5, 2011) Zero Motorcycles, the global leader in the electric motorcycle industry, today announced its participation in the November 2011 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy. Zero will be making its first-ever appearance at EICMA where the company plans to launch its 2012 model line. No information has been released on what specifically will be announced at the show and Zero plans to keep quiet until the event. EICMA was selected as the venue for the 2012 launch because it is the motorcycle industry’s most respected tradeshow for showcasing the latest products and trends. With Zero’s accelerating growth in Europe and across the globe, EICMA also fits into the company’s overall strategic plans. “As we’ve solidified our international distribution efforts by expanding into Australia, Canada and most recently Brazil, and with our longstanding relationships in the U.S and throughout Europe, our attendance at the 2011 EICMA show is a logical extension of our goal to continue growing the Zero brand on a global level,” said Scot Harden, Vice President of Global Marketing, Zero Motorcycles. “We are looking forward to seeing the response to our 2012 model line announcement especially in light of all the dramatic new features and improvements our engineering teams have accomplished. It’s also important for us from the perspective of reaching out to the European market as we roll out our dealer development program in key markets in Europe”. The new 2012 product lineup for Zero will be sure to excite and to showcase the accelerated technical development going on at Zero. Zero will be unveiling an all-new booth design similar to the display featured earlier this year at the 2011 MotoGP at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The revamped booth will host interactive display kiosks, vibrant Zero Motorcycles imagery and of course, the entire all-new 2012 product line. Zero can be found in the American Pavilion, hall #2, booth #G29. This is the 69th International Motorcycle Exhibition and will be held, Nov. 8-13, 2011. Zero Motorcycles executives will be available during the show for media interviews. About Zero Motorcycles Zero Motorcycles is the next step in motorcycle evolution and represents the ultimate electric motorcycle technology. Unencumbered by conventional thinking about how they design, manufacture and sell high performance electric motorcycles, they are on a mission to turn heads and revolutionize their industry by combining the best aspects of a traditional motorcycle with today’s most advanced technology.
